Designed by Foster + Partners and completed in 2003, The Gherkin at 30 St Mary Axe is one of London’s most recognisable landmarks and a winner of the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize. Standing 180 metres tall with 41 floors, the building is as well known for its architecture as it is for the event spaces and private dining rooms on its upper floors.
Private dining rooms on level 38 can be hired individually, in pairs, or as a full floor takeover for up to 130 guests, suiting board meetings, private dining, business breakfasts and intimate celebrations. For larger events, exclusive hire of the restaurant and bar on levels 39 and 40 accommodates up to 260 guests for drinks receptions, product launches, networking events and corporate dinners, all with 360-degree panoramic views across London.
Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street mainline stations are within walking distance.
Purple Patch Group, a live event management company, has previously worked with The Gherkin as part of a wider network of London venues.
