Located on Great Queen Street between Covent Garden and Holborn in the West End, De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms is a Grade II* listed building with a history dating back to 1775. With 37 event spaces across five floors and a capacity of up to 1,500, the venue suits conferences, meetings, training, exhibitions, product launches, awards ceremonies, dinners and weddings.
The Grand Hall (599m²) is the centrepiece, seating up to 750 theatre style with ornate high ceilings, wood panelling and chandeliers, and up to 1,500 for a reception.
The Edinburgh Suite (311m²) and Cornwall Suite (311m²) each hold up to 300 theatre style. The Balmoral Suite (220m²) holds up to 220. On the fifth floor, an exclusive roof terrace is available for summer receptions and outdoor events. Over 30 smaller meeting and training rooms accommodate up to 120 guests.
The venue holds Green Tourism Gold and IACC certifications, with full Wi-Fi 6 coverage throughout. Covent Garden and Holborn tube stations are five minutes away.
Purple Patch Group, a corporate event management company, has previously worked with De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms as part of a wider network of London venues.
